RestroKing

Delete your account

Last updated 6 October 2026

You can delete your RestroKing account from inside the app, or by writing to us. This page explains both, and says plainly what is removed and what we are required to keep.

From the app

Open RestroKing and go to Settings › Close account. What you see there depends on your restaurant:

  • If you have never billed — usually because you opened the restaurant by mistake, or were only trying the app — it is deleted straight away, along with your account. Nothing is kept, and your Google account is freed, so you can be added to a restaurant you work at or set up a different one.
  • If you have billed, tap Request account deletion. We handle these by hand so that nobody loses their books by accident. We normally reply within two working days.

Cannot sign in? Use the form below instead.

Request it here

If you cannot sign in, or would rather not use the app, send us the request directly. We confirm who you are before anything is deleted, so use the email address you sign in with.

Prefer to write? Email contact@salezline.com from the address on the account, or call +91 8296001049.

What is deleted

  • Your name, email address and Google sign-in
  • The accounts of every staff member you added
  • Every device registered to the restaurant — nobody can sign in afterwards
  • Your menu, categories, tables and settings
  • Photos you uploaded: menu pictures, your logo and photos of expense bills

What is kept, and why

Your bills, the items on them and the tax recorded against them are kept for 72 months — six years. This is not our choice. GST law requires a business to be able to produce its records for that long, and those records are yours, not ours. Keeping them is what lets you answer a tax query after you have closed.

During those six years that data is not used for anything. It is not read, not analysed, not shared and not sold. Nobody can sign in to reach it. We will give you a copy on request, and once the six years are up it is removed.

We also keep the audit record of the deletion itself — who asked, when, and who actioned it — because a deletion nobody can account for is worse than one that is written down.

Before you delete

Export what you want to keep first. Reports export as PDF from Reports in the app. Once the account is deleted you will not be able to sign in to get them.

Payments

Deleting your account does not by itself refund a subscription. See our refunds policy, or ask us when you write.
